My Mission
It is my mission to seek out and deliver the best locations for Feature Films, TV Productions, Commercials and Photoshoots.
I gather together the backdrops of what you see on the screen: the natural scenic and graphic structures positioned behind the action.
Locations set the tone of the story, contributing a sense of home in the vastness of space and time where the scenes of life are played. Sometimes unnoticed in the background, but at times they can be so compelling that they become a character in the story.
Once the locations are chosen, The Location Manager will make the deals and provide facility support for the Production. Contracts, permits, parking, maps and traffic control are but a sampling of the tasks necessary to create an environment conducive to film production.
The Location Department will work together with the property owners and the community to keep them informed of our activities, and to guide them through the not-so-obvious details from prep to wrap. Often we enlist the neighbors’ help to provide us with driveways and garages, lighting and camera placements. Sometimes their homes and businesses may need to be dressed for the scene.
The Location Department will promote cooperation and address the concerns that may have an impact on the neighborhood when filming takes place.
When the scenes are finished and the circus leaves the neighborhood, it is our goal to be invited back for future projects.
